Cantaloupe

Cantaloupe, also known as muskmelon, is a type of fruit from the Cucurbitaceae family. It has a distinct round to oblong shape and features a rough, netted skin. Inside, the flesh is usually a bright, inviting orange or sometimes a paler yellow, depending on the variety. It is encapsulated by a hard, inedible rind that transitions from green to a more beige color as it ripens.
