It is a variety of the Atlas cedar native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Algeria. Typically reaching heights of 40 to 60 feet with a spread of 20 to 40 feet, the Blue Atlas cedar features a pyramidal shape, which becomes more open and spreading with age.
